Intervention

Understanding the problem is only the beginning.

Clarity creates an opportunity.

What happens next determines whether anything actually changes.

A Capitalus Intervention helps your organization turn diagnostic findings into meaningful action—working alongside your leadership team to address the conditions contributing to the problem and build stronger ways of operating.

Discuss an Intervention

From insight to action.

Knowing what's contributing to a problem doesn't change it on its own. Roles may need to be clarified. Management practices may need to change. Accountability may need to be rebuilt. Processes may need to be redesigned. Difficult conversations may need to happen. People practices and leadership approaches may need to evolve.

An Intervention is the structured work of making those changes—and making them hold.

We don't arrive with a predetermined solution.

The intervention follows the evidence. What we work on depends on what the diagnostic found, which may involve one or more of these areas:

  • Leadership & Management
  • Organizational Effectiveness
  • People & HR
  • Performance & Accountability
  • Culture & Change
  • Talent & Capability
  • Technology & Process

And when the right solution requires expertise Capitalus doesn't provide, we'll say so.

Explore Our Capabilities

We work with you—not instead of you.

Capitalus can provide expertise, structure, resources, facilitation, coaching, analysis, and implementation support.

But we won't take ownership of your organization away from you.

Your leaders still need to lead.

Your managers still need to manage.

Your team still needs to participate.

And the decisions that shape your organization still belong to you.

That isn't a limitation of our service.

It's part of how we make change sustainable.

If an improvement only works while the consultant is in the room, the organization hasn't really improved.

What an Intervention looks like

  1. Align

Translate diagnostic findings into priorities, ownership, success measures, and action.

  2. Build

Develop the structures, practices, capabilities, resources, or leadership behaviors necessary.

  3. Implement

Work alongside the people responsible for putting changes into practice.

  4. Sustain

Evaluate progress, adjust where necessary, and strengthen the organization's ability to maintain improvement without dependence on Capitalus.

The client has a role in this work.

Lasting change requires leadership's active involvement. During an Intervention, we'll ask leadership to:

  • Participate consistently
  • Make difficult decisions
  • Communicate expectations
  • Hold people accountable
  • Provide access to information and resources
  • Follow through
  • Examine leadership's own contribution
  • Reinforce changes

Capitalus will bring our expertise. We expect leadership to bring its ownership.

How we'll know whether it's working

Measures are agreed at the start and depend on the problem. They may include:

  • Fewer unnecessary escalations
  • Greater manager ownership
  • Fewer recurring employee-relations issues
  • Improved accountability
  • Better execution
  • Clearer roles
  • Improving workforce and performance indicators
  • Stronger leadership alignment
  • Reduced organizational friction
  • Greater ability for senior leaders to step away

The objective isn't to complete the intervention. The objective is to improve the organization.

Engagement & Investment

Capitalus Interventions are scoped after the problem and required change are sufficiently understood.

Engagements typically begin at $15,000.

Investment is determined by complexity, duration, organizational reach, and the level of implementation support required.

Before work begins, we'll define:

  • Objectives
  • Scope
  • Capitalus responsibilities
  • Client responsibilities
  • Milestones
  • Measures
  • Duration
  • Fee

The goal isn't dependence.

We measure our success by how well your organization functions without us.
